This recently published article tells the story of Robert Burns Membership of Lodge Canongate Kilwinning.  It gives fascinating insghts into the two paintings by Stewart Watson of Robert Burns Laurateship on the 1st March 1787 and his membership of the Lodge on the 1st February 1787.
